To join the project, follow the account, share posts, or jump into the middle of the action by writing on any slip of paper a note of encouragement, a piece of advice, or a note about how you stay resilient This should just take a minute or two!! Then hang up that piece of paper in a common area or leave it for someone to find or hand it to a friend or stranger! In that moment, you are using your power to support another human, and I think that human will feel that support and feel an impact. We can impact each other, even for a second, and create communities and moments of support and belief in one another. One personal world at a time we are making our collective world better. Stay tuned for in-person events and calls to action and a growing social media presence and community.

Nonprofit Video Collaborations

Roles Include: outreach, pre-production planning, producing, filming, interviewing, editing

  • I am passionate about using my production, video, and editing skills to make change. I reached out to nonprofits around my local area (greater Boston) to see if they had any video needs. Bridge Over Troubled Waters and the National Asian American Pacific Islander Mental Health Association were two organization who had ideas for videos, they just needed someone to do them. These volunteer videos put my love of collaboration and meeting people were they are at at the center of the work.

Interview Work

(2018-present) I love interviewing people to amplify people’s voices and write stories that can be meaningful to them and others. Some of my favorite interview projects that I have worked on are linked here, including one of my first interview works I ever did for my Girl Scout Gold Award in high school. During that time I interviewed elders in my area and then taught high school classes about the importance of primary sources and how to interview, including making “how-to” guides that you can find in the presentation! Also featured are stories about fisherman in New England and climate change, street musicians in the Boston area written as an ethnography, and a story written during the height of the genocide that was happening in Tigray, Ethiopia.

Fasciano Productions

(2021-present) Fasciano Productions is where my siblings and I collaborate and create videos of all kinds. We have done scripted videos, reaction videos, music videos, and we hope to create many more creative endeavors together. This is also where I put my own documentary and experimental videos. Right now in the works are an archival video of film and quotes, an Agnès Varda homage, nature mockumentary, a World Fair video, and several collaborations with different nonprofits in the Boston area.
